초록

In this study, zeolite and Prussian blue were selected as adsorbents for the removal of cesium components from radioactive contaminated water, and their particle sizes and cesium adsorption performances were evaluated. Additionally, nonwoven geotextiles designed for cesium adsorption were manufactured, and their adsorption performance was analyzed based on the concentration of cesium ion-contaminated water as well as their effectiveness in acidic and alkaline environments. Among the tested adsorbents, Prussian blue demonstrated a higher adsorption performance compared to zeolite. The results of the adsorption tests indicated that the particle size of the adsorbent is a critical factor influencing the adsorption performance of cesium ion adsorption geotextiles. Furthermore, the adsorption efficiency of the adsorbents was found to vary depending on the pH of the contaminated water. © The Authors, published by EDP Sciences, 2025.
