Maximum power control of doubly fed induction generator system considering induction machine parameter variations

Current controller gain of rotor side converter in DFIG(Doubly Fed Induction Generator) is decided by induction machine parameters criteria. However, parameters are changed depending on operating conditions and after connection stator and grid. It causes a bad effect on current control, power control and response time. The purpose of this paper is compensating the variation of operating parameters to improve the torque ripple and the current ripple. Therefore, this control strategy stabilizes the system and obtains the maximum power. Using PSIM simulation, the validity of control algorithm is verified. © 2011 IEEE.
