초록

This presentation is an extension of cross-sectional, longitudinal and cross-cultural studies of adolescent culture in Korea. Previous studies (Kim & Park, 1998) examined the role that parents, teachers and peers play in affecting the psychological and behavioral in functioning of adolescents. The results indicated that parents play the most important role in promoting healthy development and achievement of adolescents. Friends and peer provide similar positive influence to some adolescents and for others, they provide negative impact such as encouraging them to engage in problem and delinquent behavior.
