SSD 기반 클라우드 스토리지 시스템에서 Erasure code를 이용한 데이터 복제 기법

초록

In this paper, we propose a new data replication method using erasure code to improve space efficiency and I/O performance in SSD based cloud storage system. For high access frequency data, the proposed method replicates 3 copies to insure the fast access time and data redundancy. For low access frequency data, the method applies erasure code to data for the space efficiency and write performance. Experimental results show that the proposed method has 17% improvement in space efficiency and 11% improvement in writing performance rather than the traditional data replication method.
