초록

Recently architectural discourse, as discourse of sensuous experience came up rather than the concept of reason, has been became important issue that the body intervenes in relationship between architectural space and human being. To change in the mindset leads the research of discourse of body and phenomenological concern. But it is the problem that most researches do not consider the thinking and the cognition of vision related with body focus only on respect of phenomenological perceptual experience, particularly sense and perception of body except for vision. Because this respect disregards the visual perception of body despite the spatial character related with the perception of body appeared through visual difference, and also it is apt to do what their spaces are generalized to sense space or phenomenological technique. Therefore, this study investigates meaning of bodily visuality which character of visual perception by body through the Merleau-ponty's theory of bodily perception and deduces more clearly the meaning of bodily visuality through comparative analysis on Steven Holl who approaches with epistemology of bodily perception and Daniel Libeskind who approaches with ontology of bodily perception. This study provides methodological frame for the distinguishing of generalized phenomenological space and various possibility of design method.
