中低炭素페로망간製條粉塵의 浸出液에서 망간의 精製

This study was carried out for the preparation of high-purity Mn3O4, raw material of Mn-Zn Soft Ferrite through purification of manganese in dusts, which were by product of the AOD process to produce medium-low carbon ferromanganese Hydrochloric acid was used as leaching solution and manganese in leaching solution was recovered by the precipitation of MnCO3 using (NH4)2CO3, by calcination of MnCO3, Mn3O4 was manufactured. The impurities(Fe, Si, Ca, Mg, Na, K) in leaching solution were eliminated as follows 1. When pH of solution was controlled above 4 by reduced dusts(MnO), Fe was eliminated by the precipitation of Fe(OH)3 and Si was coprecipitated with Fe(OH)3. 2. Ca2+ and Mg2+ in leaching solution was eliminated by the precipitation of CaF2 and MgF2 using NH4F. best conditions were as follows; temperature : 70℃, Mn2+ concentration : 15000ppm time : 2hr, addition amount of NH4F : 0.15M on this condition, resiual Ca2+ and Mg2+ concentration in solution were 13ppm and 5.5ppm 3. When MnCO3 was precipitated, Na and K was eliminated by the solubility difference of carbonates. the reaction temperature and concentration of (NH4)2CO3 didn't affect impurity amount of MnCO3. the purity of Mn3O4 gained by calcination of purified MnCO3 was above 99.9% and could satisfy the purity of Mn3O4 for Mn-Zn Ferrite manufacture.
