Single-Stage PFC DCM Flyback Converter without the Electrolytic Capacitor and 120[Hz] Ripple for LED Lighting

초록

Recently LED Lighing has received a lot of attention from various industry fields because of its high efficiency, long lifetime, environment-friendly characteristics. This paper presents a LED driver circuit based on single-stage flyback converter with power factor correction. Because of discontinues conduction mode, the converter is able to correct power factor without additional circuit. The proposed flyback converter is composed by a LC filter for reducing 120[Hz] ripples and removing electrolytic capacitor. PI controller is used to maintain constant current of LED lighting. To verify the performance, the proposed circuit is confirmed by simulation.
