BST-104, a Water Extract of Lonicera japonica, Has a Gastroprotective Effect via Antioxidant and Anti-Inflammatory Activities (vol 22, pg 140, 2019)

In the February 2019 issue of Journal of Medicinal Food (volume 22, number 2, pp. 140-151), the article entitled BST-104, a Water Extract of Lonicera japonica, Has a Gastroprotective Effect via Antioxidant and Anti-Inflammatory Activities by Bang et al. requires correction. On page 141 in the Materials and Methods section, an incorrect temperature of the bath water was given: ''Briefly, L. japonica extract was prepared by immersing the dried buds of L. japonica in a churning water bath at 50°C and subsequently filtering and concentrating the extract using a rotary evaporator at 50°C.'' The sentence should have appeared as: Briefly, L. japonica extract was prepared by immersing the dried buds of L. japonica in a churning water bath at 90°C and subsequently filtering and concentrating the extract using a rotary evaporator at 50°C.
