The role of transport and logistics sector for sustainable development in Asia

Advances in science and technology are creating new economic opportunities and producing sustainable solutions. And sustainability will be best pursued by building on these trends and encouraging new collaborative initiatives among governments, businesses, and the nonprofit sectors. To face with the climate changes, hereo propose two virtuous frameworks for sustainable development; - The first framework is that a sustainable economy will provide additional benefits such as job creation, poverty alleviation and improved environmental conditions. In particular the focus on sustainable transportation will result in improvement in economy, society and environment. - And the second framework is that a shared value or shared responsibility between company and community will provide us additional benefits such as resource conservation, greener products and more livable society. The Shared Value that we want to create should not be confined to the National level. and maybe the Free Trade Agreement, Open-Sky Policy and No-Visa policy would be some core solutions to create a Global level of Shared Value.
