Preparation and Stereo Sequences of High-Molecular-Weight Poly(L-Lactic acid) Through Direct Condensation Polymerization

초록

The synthesis of high molecular weight (weight-average molecular weight ~ 130,000 g/mol) lactic acid polymers was investigated through the direct condensation polymerization of L-lactic acid in bulk state. The polymerizations were carried out using titanium (Ⅳ) butoxide as catalyst at different polymerization time. The molecular weights were characterized with gel permeation chromatography (GPC). The stereo sequences were analyzed by 13C NMR spectroscopy on the basis of triad effects.
