홀로코스트 기념관 건축을 통해서 본 감각적 장소성 재현에 관한 연구

초록

This study places the focus on the programs of memorial architecture, which are scattered around all over the city. Presuming the city is a place where history is registered, the study attempts to explore the possible ways to transform the narrative property and sensuous experience of the space gained from such programs to build up urban identity. Focused on Holocaust memorial museums, in particular, which are built during the last decades of the 20th century, the study investigates how to transform such tragic history into the sense of place by the theme and message, form and spatial experience.
