Friction characteristics of magnetorheological elastomer under vibrating condition
초록
Magnetorheological (MR) materials are belong to the group of intelligent material which can be under the influence of an external stimulant such as electric fields and magnetic fields. Magnetorheological elastomers are a kind of MR materials and the mechanical properties can be changed under an external magnetic field. The friction coefficient of MRE can be changed under a magnetic field. There have been studies on sliding friction characteristic of various material under vibration conditions (amplitude or frequency) so far. Therefore, the friction property of MR elastomer is evaluated under different vibration amplitudes and magnetic fields. The results shows that the friction coefficient is reduced as the amplitude of vibration increases.
