초록

In the present study, the possibility of hybridizing Carbon/Aramid, Carbon/Glass and Aramid/Glass matrix are investigated through the commingling process [1] in terms of the breaking elongation property of the hybrid yarns produced. The experimental preparations for this purpose are well summarized in the reference [2]. In experiments, carbon (CF), aramid (AF), and glass (GF) filament yarns were combined. Polyether?ether- Keeton (PEEK), and polyester (PES), or polypropylene (PP) were selected as matrix materials. The volume content of filament in hybrid yarn cross section was maintained at 50% for both reinforced and matrix and the hybrid yarns count at 600 tex. The reinforcement to matrix filament combination was selected as 1:1 proportion.
