참당귀 뿌리 배양을 통한 decursinol agelate 생산에서 nitric oxide가 미치는 영향

Effect of nitric oxide (NO) as an intracellular signal transducer on the production of decursinol angelate was investigated in root cultures of Angelica gigas Nakai. Various concentrations of S-nitroso-acetyl-penicillamine (SNAP) as an NO donor were added to cultured root and it was found that decursinol angelate content was increased most at 10-2 mM SNAP. In addition, decursinol angelate production was enhanced by L-arginine that is a substrate of nitric oxide synthase (NOS) and a physiological precursor of NO in animal cell. It was clear that this result is caused by NO produced from L-arginine by NOS through the studies using the NOS inhibitor. These results suggest that plant cells are influenced by not only exogenous NO, but also NO produced from endogenous pathway just like the cases in animal.
