Social Welfare Maximization Strategy Considering Household PV and EV in the Apartment Building

초록

In the world, the number of apartment building, which are shared resources that can accommodate many people, is increasing in response to the urbanization phenomenon. In addition, the number of consumers installing household PV that can be used in ordinary households is increasing rapidly. Consumer with household PV is a prosumer that can sell surplus electricity generation after self-consumption and save electricity usage fee. However, prosumer residing in apartment building has different characteristics from prosumer residing in general house. So, they need other strategies to save energy. In this paper, a social welfare maximization strategy has been proposed that considers the characteristics of prosumers residing in apartment building. In the apartment building, the commonload is a shared resource that everyone uses together, and there is a characteristic that the electricity usage fee should be shared. Therefore, prosumers residing in apartment building can benefit from sharing the energy to the common-load using PV and EV, which saves all electricity cost. The manager who manages the apartment building contracts with the prosumers and sends them to the common-load as soon as surplus power of PV. In addition, the energy remaining in the battery of the EV that has been left off is discharged to the common-load during the peak load period to lower the peak load. Manager performs the settlement so that the prosumer and the consumers can gain the benefits based on the measurement data measured at the common-load.
