Border-scape as urban bulwark A study on the vitalization of urban border condition based on historical script

초록

The study intends to recognize the characteristics of urban borders as amalgamating mechanism, to analogize the Han-River to an exoneration, and to present an architectural space as a device documenting flow of multi-dimensional time. The main focus is placed on reconsidering the density of time in the historical expansion of the physical border of the Han River, breaking with conventions looking at the border condition in the Han River to be discontinued meaning, and specifying the urban border to be new space.
