Unusual Case of Pulmonary Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis Presenting as Ground-glass Opacity in the Lower Lung

This case was unusual because of the HRCT and biopsy findings. LCH lesions should be searched for in all cases of severe RB before considering RBILD or DIP diagnosis. In smokers, interstitial macrophages within peribronchiolar scars may also suggest LCH and should warrant a careful search for diagnostic Langerhans cell clusters.
