초록

Stirred tank bioreactor was found to support better growth of trangenic Nicotiana tabacum suspension cell than airlift bioreactor. It was also proved to be suitable to high density culture. Increased agitation rate inhibited cell growth but provided well mixing until the end of culture. In addition, perfusion culture was carried out in order to extend the production period. The cell growth was maintained untile the 14th day during perfusion culture and 20.04 g DCW/L of cell density was achieved.
