Wavelength Demultiplexer Using the Self-Collimation Phenomenon for Microwave Photonic Crystals

초록

We designed a compact wavelength demultiplexer using the self-collimation phenomenon of 2-dimensional photonic crystal. In our device, the incident light through the incident waveguide, which is tilted at fixed angle, is refracted with a particular angle at boundary of photonic crystal. In order to verify these properties, we fabricated a microwave photonic crystal demultiplexer. The microwaves of two different frequency regions were found to be propagated to each output waveguide
