초록
The use of alkaline protease in a variety of industrial processes like detergents, food, leather and silk has increased remarkably. currently, a large proportion of the commercially available alkaline protease are derived from Bacillus strains. Around 30-40% of the production cost of industrial enzymes is estima-ted to be accounted for the cost of the growth medium. Considering this fact, the use of cost-effetive growth medium for the prodution of alkaline protease from an Bacillus sp. is especially important.
