초록
We present a rigorous but time-efficient methodology for estimating the director distribution and capacitance in an arbitrary electrode structure of liquid crystal cell. Several models of liquid crystal cell were developed for dealing with pure nematic, twisted nematic, and cholesteric liquid crystal materials [1]. It is difficult to obtain an accurate solution by the finite difference method for various structures of liquid crystal cell (e.g. TN, IPS, MVA, SSFLC etc.) due to its limit for a complex geometry.
