초록
Acute phase reactants(proteins) Plasma proteins increasing as a part of “acute phase response” of the host to tissue injury. Infection, trauma, inflammation, malignancy. Predominantly produced by the liver. Within hours after the inflammatory stimuli. Cause : most prominent in bacterial infection, burns, multiple injuries : also in occult infection, infarction, chronic illness(immune reaction, RA, Crohn’s disease), crystal, neoplasm(renal cell carcinoma, Hodgkin’s disease), bone fracture.
