Automated conformance testing for iris sample quality based on ISO/IEC standard

초록

This paper introduces a framework for automated conformance testing of iris sample quality based on the requirements in ISO/IEC 29794-6 standard. The paper first presents algorithms for iris feature extraction including iris segmentation and eyelid detection from by which iris features are provided for an automated conformance testing. Then, the paper reviews or and proposes quantitative metrics for quality conformance testing, based on the ISO/IEC 29794-6 standard for iris image. The experiments performed on the popular CASIA iris image databases confirm the effectiveness of the conformance testing framework.
