초록

In this study, the hydrolysis and complexation behavior of iron coagulants and the influence of mineral particles in coagulation of humic acid were evaluated. It was shown that the effective pH range for humic acid removal expanded when mineral particles added in iron coagulation. At lower pH, mineral binding with HA directly improved the removal of HA, but it was directly observed when HA has lower negative charge at pH less than 5. On the other hand, since minerals can adsorb residual metal ions, iron precipitates and Fe-HA complexes on their surface, it increased the growth rate and intensity of Fe-HA complex Flocs.
