RESVERATROL STIMULATES NITRIC OXIDE RELEASE VIA DECREASING IN ENDOGENOUS INHIBITOR CAVEOLIN-1 IN HUMAN UMBILICAL VEIN ENDOTHELIAL CELLS.

초록

Resveratrol(3,4,5-trihydroxy-trans-stilbene) is a polyphenolic stibene found mainly in grape wine and induces vasodilation by enhanced endothelium nitric oxide(NO) release. Endothelial NOS(Enos) activity is controlled by the two major mechanisms, Akt-mediated eNOS phosphorylation which is a major activating pathway of NO release and interaction with caveolin-1 which is an inhibitory pathway of eNOS activity.
