The Study on the Classification System for the Software Reuse

All these days, we have devoted many efforts to increase the software productivity, but it has not been sufficient for supplying the sudden excessive demand for software. By striving for the improvement of software productivity through the reuse of the existing software products, we can break these software crisis and expect to improve the software reliability and standardization. By using existing software components, software reusability improves the quality and productivity of software development. In this paper, the classification system developed for the reuse system. While a great of research over the past several years has been devoted to the component libraries and reusable software component, the composition issue of how to extract reusable components from existing systems, to classify reusable component has remained relatively unexplored. The identification and classification system for the reusable components will support practical application for the reuse system.
