초록
We present a simulation study on the resonance characteristics of waveguide-coupled photodefinable polyimide microring resonators. Microring resonators coupled to the waveguides provide compact, narrow band, and large free spectral range. The excitation input into the FDTD is a sinc function in the time domain and the transmitted output display characteristic peaks corresponding to the resonance wavelengths. We obtained the coupling efficiecny of 55% and the free spectral range of 35nm, which are excellent values.
