Deformation behavior of huge production in thermal processing

초록

The material strength tends to decrease during the thermal processesing and hence the deformation is larger than that at room temperature. If the product is big and wide then, the deformation due to its own weight can not be ignored under high temperature. In this study, the deformation during thermal processing is numerically predicted using finite element analysis. The numerical model considers the weight of product and temperature-time dependent behavior by body force term and the creep analysis, respectively. And we applied the proposed method for the solution treatment of heat treatment processing.
