현대 건축의 헤테로토피아적 특성에 대한 연구

초록

This study attempts to discuss ways of urban reading within the framework of Faucaullt's heterotopian discourse, to examine the idea of 'para-modern' as a tool for reading the contemporary city, developed by Rem Koolhaas, and to search new methods of making architecture and a city through analysis of sign function appeared in Rem Koolhaas' contemporary works. The arguements concentrate on reading a city as a text constituted by signs, in relation to reading Barthes' 「Semiology and Urbanism」.
