Competition among credit card companies and businesses is intensifying amid intensifying global low growth, low interest rates, low fertility and aging. In the future development strategy of the credit card industry, it is important to highlight their strengths as much as possible while complementing weaknesses through digital conversion. To this end, it is necessary to lead sustainable growth through opportunity factors and respond to threats. The future development strategies of credit card industry are as follows: First, it is necessary to improve the efficiency of franchise management by managing the retail payment system targeting franchisees. Second, it is necessary to create an intervention system of the franchise fee rate to prevent the high cost structure of the retail payment system. Third, it is necessary to analyze the big data related to the card payment transaction, develop and brake the integrated consumption management service and debt management service to the customers, and develop various analysis services for the franchisees. Fourth, in the card loan market, it is important to make the interest rate calculation system more detailed by using big data and cultivate the repayment ability evaluation of the borrower.
