초록
In this paper, we experimentally examine the transient properties of a needle-plate electrode grounding system in the presence of electrical discharges caused by impulse voltages. We analyzed the ground electrode potential rise-current curves, transient ground resistance-time curves, breakdown voltage-time curves, etc. When soil breakdown occurs, the ground electrode potential rise becomes considerably stronger and the current increases. The shape of the potential rise-current curve due to ionization growth and thermal activity of the soil resembles a fan-shaped hysteresis curve.
