Explanatory remarks on English derivational affixes listed in the 2022 National Curriculum : 2022 개정 교육과정에 명시된 영어 파생 접사에 관한 주해

The 2022 Revised National Curriculum of English identifies 36 derivational affixes that, when applied to 3,000 core vocabulary words, produce derivatives considered part of the same basic vocabulary set. Recognizing the challenges faced by those without a strong background in morphology, this paper provides a detailed analysis of these affixes, focusing on their grammatical functions and meanings, allomorphic variations, and the orthographic, phonological, or stress changes they may trigger.
