Isolated RV myocarditis is a relatively rare pathophysiology and presents a different clinical challenge to that LV myocarditis. Early diagnosis and treatment should be prompted to improve RV function and prevent serious cardiovascular outcomes. We should not forget that RV myocarditis is an important differential diagnosis in the case of a patient with RV failure, particularly where no other cause can be identified.
