High-Rate Denitrification in Upflow Biofilm Reactor of Reject Water from Sludge Treatment Process

초록

Two types of binch-scale experiments: upflow biofilm reactor packed with either floating granular polystyrene or polyurethane foam, were condycted to investigate the denitrification performance in using reject water. Upflow sludge blanket(USB) reactor was also investigated for comparison in performance. Conclusively, of the processes investigated in this study, upflow biofilm reactor using floating polystyrene was the most acepptable process for reject water treatment in the aspect of both treatability and operation.
