초록

Under the duopoly system of airline industry in Korea, they are, without exception, in conflict and in confrontation for their survival. The sorts of conflicts are aggravated by the route allocation policy of the Korean Government, since the Asiana airlines came into the market. And naturally, the Korean context goes further to be often antagonistic between Government (MOCT) and Carriers. As a result, even the willingness to organize Northeast Asian air service integration entity appeared strongly in Korea, the lack of pro-business minded bureaucrat blocks to put into practice, and not sharing common consciousness of its importance with the carriers. If you see the Chinese context, with the initiation of Government, CAAC affiliated 12 companies that are now regrouping into 3 big companies (each is comparable to Korean Airlines in size). But the Chinese are still not interested in the common operation of air service in NE Asia, considering its poor competence in service and also preventing its huge air market from the foreign carriers. And the Japanese context is characterized as indifferent to the open-skies, strategic alliances, or to the NEA regional integration in air services with its saturated infrastructure.
