20세기 전기 유성기 연극에 나타난 상대높임법 사용 양상 -언어 외적 요인에 따른 상대높임법 사용을 중심으로-

초록

This study aims to reveal how the addressee honorific in the former part of 20th century Korean period is realized according to non-linguistic factors. To this end, this study constructed 118 gramophone plays as corpus among the voice data of former part of the 20th century. In addition, in order to find out how the social atmosphere in the former part of 20th century influenced the addressee honorific, the use of the addressee honorific method according to 'social status', 'age', and 'gender' among non-linguistic factors was examined. In order to understand the use of the addressee honorific method according to social status, this study examined the effect of 'social status and power', 'the order of status and economic position' on the use of the addressee honorific method. As a result, it was confirmed that speakers in power usually use 'ha-o' style for listeners who are ordinary citizens, and 'hae' style and 'hae-ra' style for listeners who are suspect status. In addition, the order of status and economic position at the time influenced the use of the addressee honorific method before the age quality. And the speaker, who is at the top of the age, used a lot of 'hae-ra' style to the listener, who is at the bottom, and the speaker, who is at the bottom, used a lot of 'hae-yo' style to the listener who is at the top. In order to find out the use of the addressee honorific method according to gender, the usage pattern of the addressee honorific method between couples, lovers, same-sex friends, and opposite-sex friends was examined. As a result, it was found that men were generally in the position of the upper person and women were in the position of the lower person in the marital relationship and the relationship between lovers. And when the speaker and listener are male among same-sex friends, the 'ha-ge' style, which is used the least in other relationships, was mainly used.
