Preparation rheological Characterization of Poly (Vinyl bu-tyral)/clay nanocomposite

In this study, we execute the preparation and rheological characterization of Poly(vinyl bu-tyral)(PVB)/clay nanocomposites. PVB was prepared by acetalization of Poly(vinyl alco-hol)(PVA). Na+-Montmorillonite(Na-MMT) and organically modified clay (Cloisite 10A) were used as hydrophilic and hydrophobic clay layers, respectively. Chemical structure was confirmed via the H1-NMR and the FT-IR. Internal struc-ture was investigated by the XRD analysis. Rheological properties were investigated by a rotational rheometer.
