The three-dimensional measurement and analysis for the 828nm and blue phosphor light emitted from AC PDP using the scanned point detecting system

We performed 3-dimensional measurement using the scanned point detecting system (SPDS) in order to understand more precisely the discharge phenomena in PDP cell of 3-dimensional structure. Using the SPDS, we measured the 828nm light and blue phosphor light (450nm). The 828nm light extends to the outside edge of the bus electrode. The reason is that the 828nm light is emitted from Xe* (2p5) which is excited easily at the weak electric field. The 828nm light detected at the outside of bus electrode may cause the crosstalk in the neighborhood electrode pairs, so it must be intercepted.
