초록

This paper deals with the design and fabrication of the magnetic field sensor for finding the position and direction of lightning discharges. The time-varying magnetic field sensor system consists of the mult-turn loop-type sensor and the integration and amplification circuit. The frequency response characteristics of the magnetic field sensor were examined. The linearity of the response to sinusoidal signals was excellent in the frequency range of 1-500kHz. The proposed magnetic field sensors can be used to track the direction of thunderstorms.
