데이터 할당과 선반입 기법을 이용한 SSD 스토리지의 성능향상

초록

In this paper we propose a data allocation and prefetching method to improve the reading and writing speed of SSD. This method divides the data into 'Hot' and 'Cold' data according to the update frequency of the data. Among hot data the high frequency data is then prefetched in the PRAM as a nonvolatile memory. This method show 7% improvement in the random reading performance and 15% improvement in the random writing performance compared to the log block mapping method.
