A 48-year-old woman presented with intracranial acute subdural hematoma (ASDH) which showed rapid resolution on brain computed tomography (CT). She was transferred to our hospital after passenger traffic accident. While transfer, her consciousness level reduced and reach to coma. Brain CT showed left frontotemporal ASDH. A hour later we decided continue conservative treatment because her consciousness was slightly improved. Six hours later, follow up brain CT scan showed obvious reduction of the hematoma without brain swelling and minimal subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) newly appeared. Three days later, her headache disappeared and she has no neurologic deficit. Brain CT presented there is no residual subdural and subarachnoid hemorrhage. We report this case and literature review.
