A Measurement for Cargo Service Competitiveness of Major Chinese Airports

This paper presents an analysis of the competitiveness status of the Chinese major airports; Shanghai Pudong Airport, Beijing Capital Airport, and Guangzhou Baiyun Airport as well as Incheon International Airport as a standard performance. The analysis applies such processes as review of pervious researches, pilot test, and the AHP and HFP analysis. These analyses were considered four main factors; service, demand, market, and facility competitive factors. The measurement of the selected airports’ competitiveness had derived from the reversed Fuzzy algorithm. According to analyze the importance of each selected factor for the level of competitiveness, the most important factor had determined as service competitive factor, the second was demand factor, the following was facility factor, and the least was market competitive factor. The final measurement of airport competitiveness in terms of air cargo services had ranked as Beijing Capital Airport, Shanghai Pudong, and Guangzhou Baiyun Airport.
