Use of Embossing for Micro-Photonic Device Fabrication

Photonic devices have been traditionally fabricated by using the optical lithography and etch processes. However, the cost of the conventional fabrication process is generally expensive and requires lower prices for photonic components[1]. Embossing technologies can reduce the fabrication cost of photonic devices for mass production[2].
