Control of Databases in Mobile Distributed Computing Environments

Mobile distributed computing has advantages that users can use all information, wherever they go and whenever they are, in convenience and performance. Because of frequent disconnection and resources in this environment, disconnection operation techniques using cache studied. However, data update in disconnection state causes data consistency problem. In this paper, to solve this problem we proposed data synchronization techniques for maintaining data consistency of disconnected database. Proposed techniques supports transaction processing in off-line state, and store transaction time and operation information in extended multi-dimensional index and manage them, and users to data synchronization when on-line.
