Laser-Perforated MWCNT/PTFE Composite Gas Diffusion Layer of PEMFC with Enhanced Power Generation in Concentration Loss Region
초록
GDL serves as a medium to transport water and gas in PEMFC.[1] Porosity and hydrophobicity control needed to be adjusted to facilitate the transfer of the two substances. [2,3] In this study, the MWCNT/PTFE composite film was produced to replace the existing carbon fiber-based gas diffusion layer. To make the path for water/gas, a laser perforation was conducted to the film at a specific size and distance, and then MPL was coated. The performance of PEMFC using the laser-perforated MWCNT/PTFE gas diffusion layer showed excellent performance compared to commercial GDL, especially in the concentration loss region.
