A Study on Reconstructing Abandoned Urban Infrastructure Space based on Memory and Analogue

The study departs from reflecting mythic presence of an abandoned platform placed underground of the Sinsuldong Station, which was once introduced as the 'ghost platform' in Seoul. Considering that the ghost platform not as the history of the city but as the memory space, the study attempts to ex plore ways of reconstructing the abandoned infrastructure for discovering new urban contents, to inv ?????????????????? ???????? ?????????????????????? ?????????????????? ?????? ???????? ?????????? ???????????????? ???????? ???????????? ???????? ?????? ???????????????? ?????????? ?????? ???????????????? ???????? ???????? t platform as a mysterious being in the city. Focusing on the relationship between ghost platforms a nd the history of particular cities closely related to the war, such as Berlin, London, and Paris, a c ase study is proceeded in advance. The purpose of the study is, therefore, to examine whether or n ot it is possible to represent the mythical existence of the ghost platform on the basis of surrealistic thinking, and to propose a new strategy to resurrect the historical presence of the ghost platform int o an urban spatial structure.??
