YIG(yttrium iron garnet) thick films were fabricated on the YSZ(yttrium stabilized zirconia) substrate by screen printing. The single phase was obtained for all YIG thick films after sintering at 1400℃. Y2.9Ca0.1Fe4.9Zr0.1O12(Y3-xCaxFe5-xZrxO12, where x=0.1) thick film presented a good magnetic properties of 4πMs=1550 G, ΔH=117Oe. In order to enhance the magnetic properties of YIG thick films, the pressure of CIP(cold isostatic pressure) was applied to each thick film. From the effect of CIP on YIG thick films, 4πMs increased up to 1680G and ΔH decreased apparently with applied pressure as about 80Oe.
