From Flexible to Strong Materials for Exoskeleton by 3D Printing

초록

The elderly or disable who has weak walking abilities need exoskeletons made of lightweight and functional materials. For this purpose, we are studying the production of exoskeleton through various materials based on 3D printing. By developing nanomaterial based functional material and printing direction of material during printing process to develop customized muscle assisting system, we currently have investigate patient-tailored walking power aiding system by studying the production of soft as well as structural parts by mixing nanomaterials. Based on these approaches, we can suggest patient customized exoskeleton by 3D printing technology with functional materials will be presented.
