랜드스케이프 건축을 통한 도시 경계에서의 공공성 확보에 관한 연구

초록

The rapid urban growth in quantity occurred during the last century has owed much to the independent mechanism of various industrial structures and gigantic urban infrastructures, and has reformed the physical hierarchy of the city on the basis of function and efficiency to result in homogeneous and fragmentary urban space. The study departs from the intent to make such abandoned urban area as transportation infrastructures and their vicinity a place, which tends to keep a major border condition in the city. The study asks a paradoxical question why such an important urban factor that leads an access to the city and flow of urban space, acts as a border that is alienated from urban space.
