Effective Chiral Lagrangian from the Instanton Vaccum and the Low-Energy Constatns

We peresent a recent work on the eective chiral Lagrangian to order O(p4), based on the nonlocal chiral quark model from the instanton vacuum with SU(3) symmetry breaking considered. To determine the low-energy constants, we start with the nonlocal eective chiral action using the derivative expansion from the effective chiral action. Using the derivative expansion, we are able to obtain the low-energy constants. The results are in good agreement with the empirical data from chiral perturbation theory. We also discuss a possible extension to nuclear matter.
